Problem is Lindor is a good MLB prospect but seemingly a pretty shitty fantasy prospect.

Rusney looks lost out there too.

Rusney is also 27 years old. You're better off adding like will venable or someone like that

I think mrwiseguy would be the only one to tell you he's a top 20 prospect

actually, i am pretty excited about my pitching moving forward

Kershaw
Gray
Rodon
Urias
Alex Reyes
Viscaino

Moncado has also finally appeared to knock off some cobwebs and hit the ball down on the farm

I think he will be better than a "pretty shitty" fantasy prospect. He won't be Tulo but he'll end up a top 10 guy for his position.

What are you basing this off of? 74 MLB ABs? The guy is still the #2 international prospect I believe. There is some risk, but his reward is through the roof IMO.

Port, you could have gotten way more for Tulo.

There is no way to argue that point.

and the 10th best SS is pretty shitty

I'm not knocking your team...you have done a nice job. But you of all people should understand how a rebuild works.

It's not like I was going to get a top prospect from you or JewT for Tulo. There are like 7 contending teams in the league. Most of them didn't have the youth I was looking for. I have some good young hitting prospects. My pitching looks like arse so I'll be looking to improve there over time.

I bet Knat would've paid for a Tulo

I am not arguing that, but I did explain what I was looking for in my last post. Rouge, JewT and gang have the youngsters locked up and aren't interested in getting him.

you don't have to get MiLB guys to do a rebuild.

you just need assets.

Fleece someone for a name (Tulo) and flip that down the road for more assets.

You just seem to keep thinning yourself out.

One man's opinion:

According to Jim Callis - MLB

1. Rusney Castillo, OF, Red Sox (last week's rank: 2): Boston has a moribund offense and Castillo is just the guy to inject some life into it. That's why the Red Sox gave him a $72.5 million contract last August. Capable of providing speed and some power, he had a two-homer game last Friday and a two-steal contest on Sunday. He jumps to the No. 1 spot because he's a better bet to get regular big league at-bats for the next four months than ...

2. Carlos Correa
3.Daniel Norris
4.Brian Johnson
5. Jose Peraza

I don't mind you talking shite (on every trade like you are offended someone didn't offer you first) but you have to understand something. Both when I had this team and when Chat had it, it was middle of the road. Always putting bandaids on it and finishing 7th - 10th place. I am not interested in doing that. I would rather suck for a couple of years, try to build my team through young players and through the draft. And if it doesn't work out, I'll try again the following year.
