Talk me out of benching DeMarco Murray

I've kept David Johnson on the bench these first two weeks and have watched him score double digit points each week with increasing workloads.
I have tons more confidence in Jonathan Stewart and Melvin Gordon and am thinking hard about giving Johnson a shot.
With Murray playing behind a terrible line, it seems like the smart play.
Any reason why I shouldn't?

I can't. He's a bust. But you didn't think so when you drafted him so you have to stick with him at least through week 4

you start johnson and tell us how that works out.
im gonna play my 1st Rder

Murray has been doing terrible, Kelly's system isn't fit for him. It's the smart thing to do to bench him.

If you thought the guy was good two weeks ago, it should take more than 2 games to bail on him
I made that mistake with Lacy and put in McKinnon, Lacy erupted.
Having said that, demarco is in for a long year

Its not so much Demarco as it is that atrocious offensive line.
And whoever said Johnson went from 1 to 6 touches, he's also returning kicks and has scored TD's in both games.
It sounds like he's becoming a bigger and bigger part of Arizona's offense.
I just can't get past Demarco's 11 total rushing yards in 2 weeks.

Mark Sanchez will be the savior in a week or to. Just hold tight.
(Can't believe I just said that with a straight face)

You want volume to go with those TDs, otherwise you're fricked if the guy doesn't break one on limited opportunities
I'm not talking you out of it. I'd bench him, I think he sucks. I could be wrong though. And if you play Johnson and he gets nothing while your other guy is on the bench scoring and the opportunity cost of what you invested...tough to stomach

predict his touches for Gm3

10 touches probably. Arians said his role will increase

Arians said
We're going to give the ball to cj spiller until he throws up
Btw, Lacy lost two starting lineman in the opening last year. No matter how bad the line an awesome RB is going to get their yards and TDs, maybe not as spectacularly or consistently and with a bit of regression, but it's going to happen
You think demarco Murray is awesome? Then play him

and with 10 touches, you'll have to hope he breaks another long run or returns a kickoff for a TD. Will this happen 3 weeks in a row? maybe, but probably not.
It's like Ameer Abdullah from week 1. Yea, he busted a long run, but he only had 10 or 11 touches. He follows that up in week 2 with 10 touches for like 9 yards. You dont want to be dependent on big plays from RBs to get points. You want that volume, because the more touches, the more good things can happen.
See: Murray's week 1 performance where he found the endzone twice despite playing a poor game.
Always give me the guy assured of more touches. You're going to tell me that you think Murray will have 3 stinker weeks before David Johnson breaks a 50yd play or returns a kick for the 3rd week in a row?
Look maybe we'll both be wrong, and they come out and give him 20 carries. We don't really know that, but if you think that will happen(you just told me otherwise, though), then roll with him. If he comes out and get 20, then be happy he's on your team and ride with him in week 4.

This. So what if Johnson blows up on your bench with 20 touches while Murray sucks. Ok, well then you have more than 10 Weeks to play Johnson with the security of knowing he's going to get the volume. Despite what you think and know and have seen...The overwhelming probability is you're going to get fricked

This may have become a lot easier decision. Murray pulled from practice with a hammy.

Sell now before it hits news?
