Coach Ron Rivera clarified that Jonathan Stewart's sprain is of the high-ankle variety.
The injury is to Stewart's left ankle, not the right one that was injured in the preseason. Rivera is calling Stewart "day to day," which is hardly a realistic timetable for a high-ankle sprain. Until we hear differently, we will have to assume that Stewart will be unavailable for Week 13 at Kansas City and likely for Week 14 versus the Falcons.
Their run game has been atrocious. Even though they have the Chiefs this week, I wouldn't start him.
If you're trying to decide who to play between someone and DeAngelo Williams, you always go with the guy not named DeAngelo Williams.
