Should I offer Ryan Mathews for CJ Anderson?

He probably wouldn't accept that. He shouldn't at least. Their ADP's are a few rounds apart, I'm pretty sure. Mathews has a lot of talent, but he is super injury prone. If he accepts then go for it I guess.

It's kind of an insulting offer, but who knows what he's thinking. When did they go in your draft?

Yeah, that tells you all you need to know. Maybe things will change after the season starts, but he obviously values Anderson much more than mathews. If he wanted mathews more than Anderson then he would have picked mathews before Anderson.

If he will take it, absolutely do it.

Don't be surprised if Mathews has a great year though.

There's no way this isn't a troll. Ridiculous question if not.

Matthews is being highly undervalued in my opinion. He stands to flourish in a Doug Peterson offense without Demarco Murray and Chip Kelly holding him back.

He's being valued about right. I don't think most people deny that he's a talented player in position to get a lot of work. The problem is that he's perpetually injured. I drafted him as a flex starter for my team. I won't be surprised if he doesn't play much.

Feels like every RB not named Peterson has that "injury" label next to their name these days. That's the worry about drafting RBs with early picks. I'm shocked people are drafting J Charles in the late 1st - early 2nd.

My point is, I don't see much disparity between Anderson and Mathews. they both have their share of questions.

That's a fine assessment. The problem with a trade like this is you are basically walking up to the guy before the draft and saying, hey I'd like to offer you my late 5th round pick for your 3rd round pick. That's comically insulting.

Not to the extent that Mathews has injury concerns. He has struggled with injuries every year since he was drafted and only has 1 year out of 6 that he played a complete season.

Also, there's a whole multi page thread on the first page about staying away from Charles this year.

He played a complete season last year. He just wasn't used enough. (100 carries). Still had over 5 yds / rush, 6 TDs and 20 catches.

He missed three games late last year with a concussion

Who knows. This could be his year for the breaks to go his way. I hope so. That would probably put my team over the top and be a steal of a 6th round pick for me.
