How long can Felix keep being Felix? I wouldn't trade Bryant for him. Not hating on your trade, but I def see why Jew would not do that.

I definitely understand rejecting given his current roster construction; I just don't quite understand the current roster construction.

As far as Felix - He's never been a velocity hound, so I think he will be ok for a while.

Yea he has a lot of miles on him for his age. If I remember he was pitching at 19 in the bigs barely missing any time.

@MLBastian: Carrasco was sitting at 95 mph and topping at 97 in his Minor League start on Wednesday. Struck out 10 in 5.2 IP, no walks or runs, one hit.

He needs a filthy breaking ball. Pretty soon he'll be throwing as hard as Dickey.

With the start of the season getting closer and closer, the Tigers did not want to see starting pitcher Justin Verlander leave his spring start Friday against the Blue Jays early. Unfortunately, that is what happened. The 32-year-old right-hander left Friday's start in the third inning due to injury after he was visited on the mound by manager Brad Ausmus, pitching coach Jeff Jones and the trainer. The Tigers announced Verlander left the game with cramping in his right triceps. He will be re-evaluated Saturday, but the Tigers don't anticipate him missing his next spring start. Verlander allowed one run on one hit and one walk in 2 2/3 innings. The Blue Jays got their lone run off Verlander on Dalton Pompey's solo home run in the second inning. He struck out two. Verlander has a 5.63 ERA through five spring starts.

Not good Larry.
