Projection spreads + confidence

How big must the projected spread be for you to feel confident in getting a win?
I have a 35 point spread this week and need the win to keep 1st place and get the bye week next week.

I've never felt confident nor did I feel like I was going to lose off of those projections. More often than not, they don't come close to being accurate.

I was projected to beat a team 150 to 80 and I lost 91 to 78
