I pretty solid WR hail picking from the 10 spot in a 10 team league.
Rd 1 Evans
Rd 5 Tate
Rd 6 Fitzgerald
Rd 8 Garcon
Rd 12 Devante Parker
Rd 16 Josh Gordon (it was a luxury pick, I have heard he'd be back by the 24th of this month so figured I'd give it a shot with the last pick)

Guy in my league is mentioning he'd be open to trading Kareem Hunt for Parker. My RB haul isn't bad, but I would like to add more depth.

Rd 2 McCoy
Rd 3 Gurley
Rd 7 Powell
Rd 9 Coleman

Would it be worth it to trade Parker for Hunt or should I wait and possibly pick up somoene off waivers and drop Gordon if it doesn't work out? I think Parker will have a great year, but I know Hunt is gonna be solid all year. Maybe try to trade for one of the other Wr's or just stick with my current lineup?

I think Parker is your WR2.

I mean you're strong at RB already...

I like your rb's more than your wr's. I wouldn't trade Parker off.

Wut? McCoy is fine, is there a different RB named Gurley I'm unaware of? Because Todd Gurley is dog shite. I wouldn't want anyone from the Jets roster and Coleman is solid but I'm not gonna be comfortable starting him.

Absolutely trade Parker for Hunt

Gurley is being picked as a high end rb2 or low end rb1 in the 2nd to 3rd round in competitive leagues. If he was "dog shite" with no potential then "A" he wouldn't be picked that high and "B" if OP didn't see him like that then he wouldn't have spent the asset to get him. Even last year with his really rough year he was still in the solid rb2 range. You are saying that the incredibly talented former high first round pick is not only incapable of a bounce back year, but he is due for a huge decrease in production in not being a worthy rb2. Despite having a new coach. Despite still being the workhorse rb in that offense. Despite the coach saying that he is going to increase Gurley's role in the passing game.

Last year even the last ranked offensive team had 4200 total yards and a couple of fantasy startable players including a 1000+ yard receiver. While the Jets are going to be horrible this year, someone is going to accumulate stats in that offense, and Bilal Powell is the most likely candidate as of now. Last year in limited time Powell was an rb1 in PPR leagues. While it is asking too much to expect that over the course of a full season, he is certainly a very worthy and probably above average rb3.

Tevin Coleman is simply very worth rb4 for a team. He's certainly above average, and he has a ton of upside if Freeman gets injured.

BTW McCoy as a 2nd round pick and Parker in the 12th doesn't make sense at all. League is wack. But whatever.

This particular league has been pretty strange; some of the picks left me scratching my head and I'm pretty new to playing FF. I felt pretty good with the first 15 picks so that's the only reason I took a leap of faith and grabbed Gordon in the last round.

McCoy was the 5th back off the board. Elliot and Fournette going ahead of him surprised me somewhat. I couldn't pass him and Evans in back to back picks. Parker in the 12th was an absolute steal. I couldn't believe some of the WR taken before him. I didn't need another WR with a week 11 bye, but he was too good to pass up on

Lmao he had 6 TDs last year and 885 yards. If that's "okay" for your RB2, then that's on you. When I had him last year, I don't ever remember thinking, "oh man he sure is putting up great RB2 numbers".

I mean, yes those were his stats and he was the #18-19 RB last year, depending on scoring format. That puts him as an RB2...not sure what point you're trying to make?

Y'all are weird then or maybe you're bffs with Gurley Bc he was a key component to me losing a lot last year in the league I had him.

Yea he way underperformed last year, and he was key to a lot of people losing because he was probably drafted in the first round, with the expectation that he'd be an RB1 and he was really just a low end RB2.

This year he's being drafted in the 2nd-3rd with the expectation that he'll be an RB2, so his draft value makes it more worth it if you expect him to improve at all from last year, which most people do.

Fwiw I don't particularly love Gurley either, but I do expect him to be better than last year.
