I think it's a dumbass move for the guy getting rid of Dez. He has LeSean McCoy and Blount on his team....his receivers will now be Maclin, Mike Thomas, and Malcom Floyd.

Veto-worthy? That is what popped in my mind right when I saw it.

only weasel's veto. Who are you to say that they shouldn't make this trade ? If both teams think they improve their team they shouldn't have to worry about snakes like you vetoing their trades.

Now if collusion is involved and can be proven...

He could break out anytime, but Dez Bryant is hugely overrated in the fantasy world. I'm sure he will one day but he doesn't match his hype yet. I don't know what that guy is doing with his WR's, but Sproles is putting up points so far. Not veto worthy at all.

I would veto because one team is getting better and the other isn't. This is the team of the guy who would be getting Dez:

Vick
Forte
Fred Jackson
Roddy White
(Dez Bryant)
Aaron Hernandez / Dallas Clark
Deion Branch

The guy getting rid of Dez has awful receivers, and has McCoy and Blount on his team. He's getting rid of a necessity for someone who might ride the bench.

Also...these two are FATHER and SON. The son is getting Dez. I'm pretty sure the son said "look Dad, Sproles has more points than Dez it's a fair deal".

The veto option isn't there ONLY to prevent collusion. Then it would be called an anti-collusion-vote. You get the option to veto trades that are unfair to the rest of the league.

I've seen people on here say "you cant veto if someone is stupid and the other one takes advantage of it" or "only veto if its obvious collusion."

No, i disagree. You can veto for a myriad of reasons, and in this case: one team is getting WAY stacked while the other gets no real benefit other than RB depth. Did you see the part where two of his STARTING three receivers will be Mike Thomas and Malcom Floyd?

It's unfair. Therefore, a veto should be allowed.

Jesus, this is not the point of a veto. How do so many people not understand the concept of it?

Edit: just read your last post and now it makes since. although those people in your league are a-holes

How in the frick is this veto worthy? If 2 people line a trade and it's not collision what the frick is it your business to veto????

Who the frick wins this trade so bad that it's obvious collusion??? Some of you people need to learn how to play FF. Just because you don't like a trade doesn't make it veto-able.

if this is PPR there is no way you can veto it

Sproles is on pace for like 120 catches

Is he going to trade Blount or McCoy for WR help? Who knows. Is this a PPR?

Yes it's a PPR.

But guys, I get that Sproles is a good fantasy runningback (and in real life as well) but my main concern here is that this guy is trading away arguably his best receiver, which in turn makes his WR corp poo-poo, for a guy who may ride the bench most weeks (unless he plans to throw in Sproles every week).

Regardless, he's weak at WR both starting lineup and bench-wise - but strong with his starting RBs, yet weak with his bench.

Why would you trade for a position you're already good with if you're making your WR corp straight garbage?

Like I said, it's a father and son doing this deal. The son is my age, has no job, and spends all of his time with sports. His dad works M-F and plays FF as a leisurely hobby.

I think he just came up with all of these facts and numbers and said "it's a good deal...trust me!"

To those still saying "learn how to use the veto" or "learn fantasy football", look at my post a few notches up. Veto-power is for situations just like these, where one team seems to gain an unfair advantage by preying on less knowledgable people. It is NOT for collusion purposes only. It is to keep the league fair and even for all...

...how is a team ALREADY with Vick, Fred Jackson, Forte, Roddy White, Aaron Hernandez getting another stud in Dez because his daddy gave him to him fair? Are you not seeing this crucial part of the argument?

you can't be serious.

Darren Sproles is fricking tearing it up. How do you see this as unfair?

if you are insecure about a father/son combo in your league, dont join it.

Sproles is a must start in PPR leagues until he proves otherwise.

I'm not saying they are colluding, at all. But what I am saying is that the son convinced his ole daddy in to a raw deal.

If the guy with Dez had other good receivers, this is no big deal. But he already has a decent RB combo...so why jeopardize your team by starting Mike Thomas and Malcom Floyd each week when you can ride it out with McCoy, Blount, Maclin, Bryant, etc.

It's all about the context of the situation here.

Listen to Lester for he is correct. Now the trade in our league that had people screaming bloody murder was this:

2 PPR, 6 points for everyone.

Cam, Michael Bush, McGahee, Roy Williams-who was dropped 1 day after the trade

for

Fitz, Reggie Bush, Daniel Thomas, and Mike Thomas

I didn't vote because it passed without my vote. I'm not sure I could've voted yes though. Glad I didn't have to vote as the guy getting Cam is a good friend, but man I really didn't like this trade.
