Why? When you mess up in fantasy football you lose points. (negative yards, interceptions, fumbles, etc)

It's not a stupid stat. It's just something most of you aren't used to apparently.

Baseball =/= football...the only thing that matters in baseball is obp and ops... Ks are just a stat within those measurements...it's retarded to focus on that.

Might as well include sac bunts if you're going to subtract points for Ks. Productive outs sans sac fly RBI shouldn't mean anything for fantasy.

What? This made no sense. Striking out is the only negative hitting point. A hit is 1, a walk is 1, a run is 1, rbi is 1, a bunt is 0 just like any other kind of out in play.

It's a pretty simple concept guys. Not sure why you're all getting in a tizzy about it lol. Striking out does zero good for the team. At least putting the ball in play has the chance to move people over or even get an rbi.

Thanks for enlightening everyone since we are all too stupid to see it.

Infield flys should be worth -1 points also by your logic. What about a fielders choice where the lead runner is cut? Those are non-productive outs which do zero good for the team. Singling out one specific type of out and applying a negative value on it in FANTASY baseball is idiotic.

The concept is easy to understand, it's just dumb.

keep those 2 studs!

if you aren't happy with your catcher i would just rotate whoever is hot off the waiver wire. i always carry two catchers on my team. usually a proven guy and then whoever is super hot for the past week or two. try to find a guy like luccroy (over past 2 weeks he's batting .400 with nearly 10 rbi's) gattis was a great add early on in the year, and saltilamacchia was super hot for a week or two as well (not so much now) if you stay active enough you can just interchange these guys or just play ya boy napoli.

just my 2 cents.. altho posey does sound nice too.

^This. I wouldn't trade either Wright or Beltre for a catcher, even Posey. Question for the OP? Who is out there on the waivers or free agent lists?
