and we're back

Bengals placed Tyler Eifert (back) on the active/PUP list.
Eifert tweaked his back during the spring. He tweeted he was "feeling great" earlier this week, but his health remains completely up in the air. If healthy, Eifert has as much touchdown upside as any tight end, but there is no way to trust his ability to both get and stay healthy. He is just a flier in the double-digit rounds.

The #Falcons and WR Julio Jones have agreed on a revised contract that adjusts his 2018 salary. He’s showing up, as the team announced. This is a move that’s cap neutral, so it won’t affect other deals getting done.

Texans GM Brian Gaine is not sure if D'Onta Foreman (Achilles, active/PUP) will be ready for Week 1.
Foreman tore his Achilles last November. "Work in progress right now, recovering from this injury," Gaine said. "He's improving, but time will tell whether he's available to us when we kick off." Foreman was placed on the active/PUP list to start camp. That leaves open the possibility he starts the season on the reserve/PUP, which would cost him six games. With Foreman's availability up in the air, Lamar Miller looks locked into the starting job.

dk if its a rumor, I think the Browns GM has straight up said they've discussed it. Probably not great news for Gordon's outlook if they do bring him in though

Despite rumors of a looming suspension, #Raiders WR Martavis Bryant still has heard nothing from the NFL and is on a flight right now to training camp, sources tell @rapsheet and me. Expects to be on the practice field tomorrow morning
didn't realize this idiot still has suspension rumors surrounding him

Cameron Meredith is out here running routes in full-team drills
I want some meredith stock, I think he could easily see 100+ targets and is more talented than snead

Absolutely, the Saints are a fantasy gold mine.
I guess I do not want to share too many thoughts with TDFL, but I feel like Cam Mere could be WR2 coming in a double-digit round (may be higher on this board's leagues though).

I have Meredith in the fantasy regulars league. I think I drafted him in the 9th or 10th round.
Didn’t know that about Bryant but it increases my Jordy Nelson stock.....
In other news Guice took the majority of 1st team reps in practice.

actually you got him in the 13th, I just went back and looked. I'm mildly upset I opted to go Jimmy Garrapollo there instead

I was hoping he could be ready by mid season and start producing as Brees #2 target.

Brees has supported 2 top 36 WR 8/12 seasons
Meredith would almost be a shoe in top 20 WR for me if his health was guaranteed. He’s perfect for Brees and that offense
He’s a more athletic version of thomas

Could a successful Meredith vulture some of the volume Thomas enjoyed last season ?
A target hog like that has been more rare for Brees over the years but at the same time he’s never had a WR as talented as Thomas

Think Thomas will be fine, a healthy Cam and Watson could actually benefit him. And Brees is so efficient and thomas’ hands are so good, even a drop in volume should be ok. There is a positive TD regression coming for both Brees and Thomas. I think a mix of his first two years is coming this year as far as rec yards TDs go
Posted on 7/26/18 at 11:02 pm to GynoSandberg
Yeah I was going to say, perhaps a dip in volume could be offset by TDs.

I have Brees to so as long as a reduction in TDs to Thomas means Brees is targeting Meredith then I’m good with that
