Need a WR this week and wasn't sure who to drop. I know PT is injured without a timetable and the way ingram is playing who knows what his role will be when he returns. Oliver hasn't done anything the last 2 weeks, is on bye this week and has Mathews returning after bye. PPR league, who is worth holding on to? Thanks

I'd probably drop Thomas. Ingram's role has increased, Khiry should still get 5-8 touches a game, and Cadet and Pierre will split whatever is left. At least with Oliver you know he'll get a good portion of the platoon. Actually I think with less touches, he will become a more effective player.

Is Patterson a better option than either?

Khiry isn't coming back anytime soon. And probably isn't fantasy relevant until the playoffs begin. Pierre isn't really worth keeping either but I would keep him over Oliver. Matthews will be back next week.

meh i think thomas is the better drop in these options. you can't expect mathews to not get hurt again and patterson is still getting targets.

Khiry was listed as questionable last game. It more than possible, probably likely, he makes it back onto the field before Thomas. While Matthews will be back soon, Oliver will still get touches... more touches than either if the other two. It's not like Matthews is a bell cow back. Not only will Oliver take on the Woodhead role in the offense, he probably going to get a few extra carries.

If you think it's wiser to keep the guy who's likely to receive the least amount of touches of the two, and injured with no definitive return date announced, you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

I'll put a ban bet on it that he's not back for least another 3-4 weeks. Trust me OP on this one.

Drop Oliver. Mathews returns after the bye.

Saints RBs Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas (shoulder) are inactive for Week 9 against the Panthers.
Robinson made the trip to Charlotte, and is looking good for a Week 10 return.

Per rotoworld

The Saints official injury report should be out tomorrow.

Oh hey look at that the Saints added RB Tauren Poole to the the team. Plus RB Edwin Baker is still on it as well...but keep thinking Robinson is "just questionable"

I'm not thinking anything. It was listed on their official injury report last week. That's a fact.

Drop Oliver. His work load has worn him down and Mathews is returning to steal touches next week.

Looks like the Saints Talk is finally catching on to my Khiry news. Dudes going to be out for a while. Dropping him won't hurt you.

Depending on who's available, it might be good to drop them both. I agree with you on Oliver, and I have seen nothing to suggest that PT is coming back soon.

How's he going to drop someone he doesn't own?

Wow.

He is asking which one to drop, hence the title "Need to drop one"
