I have been doing pretty well on the waiver wire, but now I need to drop somebody for a kicker. Best case scenario is a 2 for 1 trade for value, but not sure I can swing that. Who should I cut? I'm loving the upside of some of these guys. Having three players out is killing me right now, but I obviously can't cut bait there, as I believe all three of those guys could come in huge for me in the playoffs. I've limped my way to a 2-0 start.

10-team standard

QB Carson Palmer, Ari
RB Carlos Hyde, SF
RB Jacquizz Rodgers, TB
RB/WR Jonathan Stewart, Car
WR Michael Thomas, NO
WR Amari Cooper, Oak
TE Travis Kelce, KC TE
FLEX Tyreek Hill, KC
D/ST Steelers D/ST D/ST
K (empty)

Bench Pierre Garcon, SF WR
Bench DeVante Parker, Mia WR
Bench Tarik Cohen, Chi RB
Bench Samaje Perine, Wsh RB

Injuries/Suspensions
Bench Andrew Luck, Ind QB
Bench David Johnson, Ari RB
Bench Doug Martin, TB RB

Perine/Quiz are the obvious candidates. If your opponent sucks you could always play without a kicker

Both these guys should be Week 3 starters. I don't think it's that obvious. I'm pumped about picking up Perine (who seemed to get starter touches this week), and Quiz gave me a good game this week, but I will admit he should be useless when Martin gets off suspension.

Does high point total get any money at the end of the year?

If not, easy solution. If you really don't want to drop anyone, check and see if any kickers in SNF or MNF are available. Wait until the noon/3 games are done to see how much you are up/down. I'm not sure what your opponent lineup looks like, but if you have a lead, just don't play a kicker. However, drop Perine and add a kicker if you need the points. I've done that before.

Perine doesn't play until Sunday night. See how you're doing after the afternoon games. If it's close, drop him for a Sunday night/Monday night kicker. If it's a blowout, play without a kicker. I sat my flex in week 1 to get ahead of a guy on the waiver wire

For the record, I am playing the best team in the league this week, so I could be way out of it after the early games.

Does Carson Palmer qualify here?

He was unproductive and will be back to the bench when Kelley is good to go, which shouldn't take long considering the injury. Perine cleared waivers in my league because he's probably only going to be a one week starter
