He had 9 catches in 2 games with Abdullah last year. About what he averaged per game over a season. He's in every passing down and eats when Det is down late in a game which will be often. Don't get married to Abdullah bigJ don't do !

We haven't seen what Abdullah can really do.

The dude is talented and is a very capable receiver.

Not saying Riddick won't get his, but a healthy Abdullah changes things for sure.

JBC is not take Riddick out that pass catching role. Abdullah has all but said the same thing during camp. Each will have their role

Besides have ball security issues & getting hurt, you're right. He's a small back and he isn't going to get full run. They brought in Asiata too who if he can make the team as a FB gives them 3 better goaline options than Abdullah. It's just hard to see where his value comes. Flex play some weeks, maybe.

he was healthy his rookie year and then had a foot issue last season, the health thing is an unfair label.

I still think he's a very talented RB and am not giving up on him yet.
