Was this just the Vikings coaching staff easing him back into action after missing a year?

Or will they continue to utilize his skill set in the least effective way possible by having him play out of the shotgun?

Well the AP Euro History Exam is by far the hardest one to take. Now the AP Statistics Exam isn't that bad if you know how to math.

I needed 10 points out of AP last night. frickING TEN.

Norv Turner is the antichrist. Vikings O-line couldn't block a team of Michael Jackson clones. Teddy Bridegwater couldn't start at ULM.

I'm trading AP for Tebow.

Sure, let's look at the stats.

I'd bet around 80% of his production, over the course of his career, has come from the single back or I formation to get him the ball running down hill.

Last night they lined up in shotgun around 50% of the snaps running a variation of a zone-read, run-pass option offense.

If they let defenses dictate his touches by running that option offense he will continue to see less than 15 carries per game l. Opponents are just going to make bridgewater keep it and beat them, which he hasn't proven he can do.

I think the shotgun offense hurts him a lot. I also think that they want to spread the carries out. AP has never had to share carries in the past, he's made his money off of big workload and big production. 10-15 carries a game isn't gonna do it for him, he needs 20+ to be as productive as he has been

It was one game. Relax

The entire team looked like dog shite.

The concern isn't that the team looked like dog shite (which they did), it's Norv Turner's game plan.

They put together one decent drive all night. Turner uses his backs as receivers a lot, and I am excited about his fantasy prospects.

In reference to anyone on the Colts and Vikings, ignore week 1. Give it more time to evaluate.
