I'm allowed two keepers in my league and I'm debating on a few issues. Can't keep 1st or 2nd round. Your keeper counts as the round before you drafted him last draft, waiver pick ups count as 7th. I'm 4th pick next draft. I'm thinking Shady would count as my 2nd rounder (16 overall) next year and Ajayi would be my 7th. But I also have the option of TY in the 5th, and Ware in the 7th. Thoughts? 10 man .5 PPR league.

I think I'd rather have TY in the 5th than Ajayi in the 7th.

I have a while to decide, I'm just trying to look at it from all angles. TY was a savior in so many games.

Keep Ajayi and Hilton

I would not keep McCoy at that slot in a 10 team league. You'll start with two very good players who are a major value based on their ADP

Give me Ajayi in the 7th over Shady in the second.
When that Miami offensive line is healthy, it's very good.

What do you think McCoy's ADP will be next year, regardless of format? He's getting older, but this season he looked as good as when he was an Eagle.

Depends on the new coach, offseason moves, new philosophy. Do they bring a new QB? Reports are that Ryan was a fan of Taylor's.
Still think he gets taken in the second half of the first round.
You'd still be getting some value by keeping him, just not as much as the other two.

I pick 11th overall and have Ajayi as an 8th round keeper candidate. Can keep him with the 86th overall pick.

Evans is another possible option with the 14th overall pick(2nd round keeper)

Green is also another possibility with the 11th overall pick (1st round keeper)

It's so tempting to go after the big names, but now that I've sat and thought about it, I'm going to go for best value. Green in 1st round is obvious, but he always goes in the 1st, so you get no additional value. Ajayi will go from waiver pick up to 2nd-3rd(ish) and TY has risen in ranks from good receiver to a top option, so the draft value from this year to next is greater for them.

I always go by largest difference in ADP

Green will be a +4 or +5
Evans will be a +6 or +7
Ajayi will be a +60ish

I would say McCoy is an early 2nd rd pick in a 10 team. He's top 15. Id say if Anthony Lynn keeps that job he will get fed, but at the same time, he's another year older and already is notorious getting dinged. His shelf life is closer to the end than it is the beginning

Ajayi can regress and it still wont hurt you at that value. At worst he will be a RB2 type

I was pumped about Ware being a keep when I picked him up early in the season, but he was so TD dependent.

need to see what happens in KC, but if ware is the guy, i actually wouldnt mind rolling him and ajayi as keepers, and then just stockpiling WRs in the draft. i think you could build a really good team that way

Yup. WR/WR/WR with those two RB's is a recipe for success. QB and a TE if the value is there in the 5th and 6th

That's a good point. I think at 3rd (messed up in the original post) I'm going to get AB, but the guy picking 2nd has a hard on for Bell and Brown so we'll see.

If Brown is there at 3 you should be able to grab a decent WR2 on the back end to compliment him. A Cooper, Jordy, etc

That's what I did this past year, except I snagged BMarsh, and we all know how that ended up....
