Do you have any thoughts about Tyrone Walker?

with all the brothers that have been named Tyrone in this world, has one ever been fantasy relevant? They can never get it together.

I watched the game the other day and he stood out.

I wouldn't draft of course, but keep an eye on him, rookie WRs never get a shot if they weren't drafted in the first couple rounds....took Victor Cruz two years after he torched each of the Jets starting DBs for 3 TDs in a preseason game.

Sleeper alert??

quote:

About six hours before the deadline to match the New England Patriots' offer to Emmanuel Sanders, the Pittsburgh Steelers have done just that.

The team on Sunday matched the one-year, $2.5 million offer sheet for the restricted free-agent wide receiver, Sanders' agent, Jordan Woy, told USA TODAY Sports in an email.

The Steelers, who later confirmed the move, retained Sanders rather than take the Patriots' third-round pick as compensation.

the pats wanted him, and were giving a 3rd round pick for him, and the Steelers wanted none of it.

Two franchises who together have won 7 of the last 10 superbowls were fighting over him......uh, yeah, I want that guy

If you watched football last year you want that guy. Has nothing to do with what you talked about.

Johnathan Franklin hasn't shown 'wow' factor Fourth-round RB Johnathan Franklin reportedly hasn't shown any "wow" factor yet. Per the Journal-Sentinel, Franklin has "struggled making headway between the tackles" and "has been adequate, not special, as a pass blocker." It's possible that he'll end up losing some third-down duties to DuJuan Harris, who showed well as a pass protector late last season. Franklin has the look of a mere change-of-pace, outside runner right now. Source: Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Aug 14 - 10:20 AM Player Outlook Game Log Career Stats In-season Projections

Nothing special. Struggling to pass block. He will be buried in the depth chart this season despite his YouTube videos

Anybody else see this on Flynn today?

quote:

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Raiders coaches have accepted that Matt Flynn isn't "going to have success throwing longer than 25 yards." Per beat writer Vittorio Tafur, it's been "clear all camp." That's absolutely embarrassing for an NFL quarterback, of course, but not a surprise. We already knew Flynn had one of the weakest, if not the weakest, arm in the league. This is just further evidence of how spectacularly weak the Raiders' offense is going to be. Flynn has no one to throw to, and his inability to challenge farther than 25 yards down field is going to lead to stacked boxes for Darren McFadden. It's a mess of a situation.

That's just terrible. I'm avoiding that entire offense

Damn. Glad someone stabbed at Streater before I could get him.

eta: Reece just moved up my boards.

Knee news, part I: Rookie WR Keenan Allen (knee) left practice after individual drills and didn't return. Mike McCoy said the knee treatment relates to the posterior cruciate ligament injury that ended Allen's 2012 season at Cal. The team wants to stay on top of it, McCoy said. On Monday, after Malcom Floyd (knee) went down, Allen saw extra work.

Kashonly,

I'm in a keeper league. I have Kaepernick and R. Wilson. Do you think I still need a backup quarterback? If so, I left Alex Smith out there. I could hopefully get him back.

Thanks for the advice.

Do I need to pay for this help?
