For me that would be a game time decision, because V Davis is a game time decision. Davis lights the saints up historically.

Tannehill. He has a juicy matchup against SD poor secondary and Kaep has only gone over 200 yds once since his outburst in game 1. NO has a good pass defense and Especially at home. SF will Prob try to run control to keep Saints offense off field bc they can't win in a shootout.

Historically, based on what? He had an amazing playoff game in 2011. Outside of that, I don't recall him scoring on us or having any games where he lit the Saints up. Last time he scored on us was 2007.

Kaep could be primed for a breakout game to shake off his haters, but I think Tannehill will throw for more TDs this week.

Davis last 4 against the saints. Avg 78 & 3 TD's total. Not bad for a TE.

2012 0 catches 0 yards 0 TDs
2011 7 catches 180 yards 2 TDs
2010 4 catches 78 yards 0 TDs
2008 1 catch 19 yards 0 TDs
2007 6 catches 71 yards 1 TD
2006 1 catch 21 yards 0 TDs

Actually, Davis' last 4 game average vs. the Saints is only 69.25 yards. In his last game vs. the Saints he registered no receptions while starting in that game. Not necessarily my definition of lighting into someone. He had one amazing game vs. the Saints in the 2011 playoffs. 3 total TDs in 6 games played. Not the last 4. His last TD vs. the Saints outside of that one extraordinary game was 7 years ago. Great player, but outside of that one game, has not had the best success vs. the Saints.

Eta: 2012 numbers were with his current QB.
