Im surprised at the people drinking the Cruz kool aid.

His numbers are inflated by big plays. No way he matches his 19 ypc this year and 9 TDs. 9 plays of 40+ and 25 plays of 20 + yards. Just don't see it happening. He will still be good but teams will now throw one of their top corners at him.

Nicks = consistent as they come and a nice RZ target. Top 12 WR past two years. 128 and 133 targets. Eli's main man. Proven WR1.

Julio Jones- missed 5 games bc of injury. Still had 8 TDs to Cruz's 9. Legit deep threat or can catch a 5 yard slant and take it to the house. Almost 10 targets per game. Falcons will develop offense gameplan around him.

I'd probably take Julio.

I realize Cruz was pretty dynamic last year seeing how that 4 of his scores last season came from 65+ yards out but you can't rely on that every year. Cruz wasn't targeted that much in the redzone and that is where guys really do their damage who put up consistent TD numbers.

Julio missed some time but was pretty dynamic himself when on the field. he had 16 catches of 20+ yards and 7 of 40+ yards. He finished with a 17.8 yards per catch average, not bad at all.

Cruz finished with a 18.7 yards per catch, even better. I just feel like Jones has more upside. If he can stay healthy, he'll have a huge year. Jones also strikes me as more of red zone threat than Cruz.

Cruz's third year and reminds me of Steve smith

he's 1600 yards near guaranteed....wasn't even really playing the first couple weeks. AND he was coming back from being on IR with a Hamstring injury.

3rd year breakout + fully healthy

Jones on Turf? ouch

There was 1 player that caught for 1600 yds last year.

I'm not expecting Cruz to repeat.

Close but Jones over Cruz

when it's a toss up like this, I think in different ways other than just looking at the "stats"

Back up QB
Eli goes down: David Carr
Ryan goes down: Chris Redman
Advantage Julio

Weather final stretch week 12(Nov 25th) -week 16
NYG open stadium in the North- GB,@wash,NO,@ATL,@BALT
ATL DOME- @TB,NO,@CAR,NYG,@DET

advantage Julio..warm or dome..plus week 16 in shootout with DET..better than slug fest in Baltimore snow.
