We have 2 WR spots, a RB/WR spot, and a flex (WR/RB/TE) spot.

Picking him up is a no brainer, right?

I guess my only fear is that he is going to get creamed by Goodell. I already have Doug Martin and Luck on my bench, and I can only afford to have so many inactive players on my bench.

Sorry for not mentioning that in my first post.

So then drop him later? You lose nothing.

I know that I have said this a bunch of times before and been wrong at this point, but Landry really should not get any punishment for what he was involved with. It would be much sillier than what is happening with Elliot, and that's silly enough. And like the other poster said, you can always just drop him later.

Okay. I need help here. Any experts with waiver rules would be appreciated. My first preference of players to drop would be James White, but it won't let me drop him because he plays tomorrow. And I don't want to drop Devante Parker or Pierre Garcon (the next two options). So if I drop my defense, I will be able to pick up a new by Sunday? I have to drop Arizona which sucks, but I can't drop my kicker (Chiefs play tomorrow).

Combination of Thursday game and my team being pretty good is putting me in a pickle.

My team for context.

QB Eli Manning, NYG QB
RB David Johnson, Ari RB
RB Carlos Hyde, SF RB
RB/WR Jonathan Stewart, Car RB
WR Michael Thomas, NO WR
WR Amari Cooper, Oak WR
TE Travis Kelce, KC TE
FLEX Tyreek Hill, KC WR
D/ST Cardinals D/ST D/ST
K Cairo Santos, KC K
Bench Allen Robinson, Jax WR
Bench Pierre Garcon, SF WR
Bench DeVante Parker, Mia WR
Bench Doug Martin, TB RB
Bench Andrew Luck*, Ind QB
Bench James White, NE RB

What kind of league won't let you drop a day before the game?!? I've never seen that

Man that's tough. I don't see how you'll be able to pick up another D before Sunday because White should be locked until waivers open up again and you will be in the same predicament on who to drop for a D

I think

I actually agree LE after seeing his team now. You're pretty deep on the skill positions. Especially WR IMO

The fact that you ended up with Johnson and Mike Thomas tells me you play with idiots.

Okay. I see what the issue is. Landry won't be off waivers until the 8th. So I could just drop White now, and hope that I get Landry on waivers Friday morning. But with my luck White will have a huge game tomorrow, and I won't even get Landry.

I've never used ESPN. Where can I find my waiver priority number?

And yes, I am playing with morons. I haven't played fantasy in three years, and I am already confident in playoffs.

meh. The offense changes with Cutler

if he goes from 94 catches to 80 or lower he is Cole Beasley basically

Lester, I am starting to like what you're saying, especially because this is turning into a huge pain in the arse. Just seems like the football gods are telling me not to make this move.

Could be a keeper league.

And until proven otherwise, despite whatever trendy Parker to Cutler thing that is going on currently, Landry is still at worst a top 20 receiver in any sort of PPR scoring format. Even in a 10 team league there is no way he can not be rostered.

Maybe, but the system is still the same, I think he's a better bet than waiver wire fodder in a PPR league given his history of volume the past two years. I could see it in an 8 teamer, but 10 team leagues still have some scrubs sitting on rosters.
