I like having the multi-position versatility of Zobrist, but at the same time my dad taught me to never turn down a BJ. I'm a little torn.

Why on God's Green Earth would anyone want BJ Upton?

I'm still pissed the Braves traded for him.

Zobrist >>> Upton

I keep going to BJ's upside vs Zobrist's upside. BJ can't continue at this awful pace. He'd likely sit on the bench until he showed any kind of life.

Zobrist no question. Even prior to BJ sucking in 2013, Zobrist is better. BJ has been shite for a few years now.

In an OPS league, sure Zobrist is better. In a batting average league, BJ has been better in years past disregarding position.

Zobrist hasn't been great this year either and is older.

It all depends on your team needs of course. Zobrist having SS/2B eligibility is a huge boost

Upton is a .251 career hitter. Zobrist is a .259 career hitter.

Upton: 19 HRs, 73 RBI, 89 R, 38 SB

Relevance? That has nothing to do with the batting average statement you made.

BJ Upton is terrible. Honestly, there has to be some free agent better than that clown.

I wasn't talking about a league that only uses batting average as a stat?

So in league that uses OPS, you are saying Zobrist is better. In a league that uses batting average, you are saying BJ is better. What's so difficult in seeing the stupidity of your statement?

If you are going say Zobrist is better than BJ in an OPS league, then he should be in one that uses batting average as well. It's shouldn't be that hard putting one and one together... especially knowing who already hits for a higher average.

Wow.

A 46 point difference in career OPS is more significant than an 8 point difference in batting average

Since when did people start playing fantasy with career averages?

Another asinine statement. You're on a roll.

I bet this dude is a Braves fan

BJ Upton could suck worse than BJ Upton and he would still argue BJ Upton is better than Zobrist...
