Is Spencer Ware the guy in KC now?

I certainly thought after the bye week it would be JC's offense again but 24 carries for Ware last night and he has done great thus far with his opportunity.

I'm not saying Charles will be benched and only get 5 carries a game, but do you think Ware will continue to see more snaps going forward? It certainly seems that way to me.

Who knows, but I will say that prior to last week, Ware's numbers weren't so hot. The Raiders have a bad rush defense and I feel like the Chiefs are in no hurry to rush Charles back because Ware has played so adequately thus far. I wouldn't call him "the guy" though.

IMO Ware will have this same role ROS

They'll probably go with the hot hand. If I own Charles, I probably pick up Ware if I can.

He averaged over 5 yards per carry even prior to last night i believe supplemented with some decent receiving stats for a rb. He just hasn't found the end zone a ton this year but the yardage stats are there.

He's top 5 in the NFL in yards per game for RBs. I'm sure that Sunday didn't inflate it all that much.

His passing game volume gives him a high floor and he's shown to have a pretty high ceiling

If Ware was ever going to lose his job, it was going to be this week. He fumbled a lot at Pitt and they went into the bye with charles getting healthy, I think he's the guy going forward

He's got another prime game this week to show that he is. Saints giving up 11 rushing TD's to date, only team in double digits to this point. I see them going forward with Ware over Charles, but both will get equal opportunities and have the chance to put up big numbers.

I was unsuccessful in trying to trade Ware to the Charles owner....now I'm thinking about flexing Ware against the Saints.

Via trade. Assuming he has pieces to move.

You couldn't be more wrong. He was very productive, his problem was fumbles.

I just looked up his stats. Over 5 yards per carry but total yards are underwhelming aside from last week and week 1.

Well how many rb's are going to have good numbers at this point if you take away their two best games outside of the top 5 at the position?

He's 6th in the league in yards from scrimmage...and avg over 7 yards per touch.

He's still averaging over 80 yards from scrimmage after week 1. That's not including catches, which makes him a valuable PPR back.

His lack of touchdowns is what is holding him back. That damn touchback a few weeks ago

Jamaal Charles is historically one the bigger fumblers at the RB position going back a few years, as well. Dont think Ware will lose run over that

That's the Andy Reid way.
