I offered Denver D/ST for Chris Johnson....I am desperate

We are a 12 team league and I had Jamal Charles and then a bunch of scrubs (Rashad Jennings, D. McFadden, Khiry Robinson).
I need another damn runnningback. Am I an idiot for this? D/ST has outscored Chris Johnson by a lot, but I'm hoping I can just play matchups with defenses from here on out to recoup some of those points.
Is Chris Johnson going to continue to get points?

I wouldn't trade a half arse rb1 for any defense. Cj1k just might be the best OP can do.

That D is on record to reach GOAT status. If it maintained the same level of fantasy scoring that it is currently, it would top the best D/ST of last year's total score by 65%. If that happens, Denver D would a strong candidate for fantasy MVP of the year
