Some dumbass that is 1-5 just traded devonta freeman for Peyton and D. Thomas to a guy that already has a nice team( Rodgers, Bell, plus other pieces). I get selling high on Freeman but damn. Peyton isn't even a top 15 QB and will only get worse from here on out. And then to make matters worse, you get a receiver who is directly tied to Manning.

And yes, I'm butt hurt

If you were in his position@ 1-5, you would know his chances are slim to none. He apparently is looking for a Hail Mary by getting the passing/recieveing combo to try and get double points to win. I'm sure he's hoping Peyton gets his shite together and this is probably his only shot at making the playoffs.

I would be a little irritated as you are, but you have to look at it from his perspective. I'm in the position he's in due too injuries and a couple of starts that didn't pan out. He owes nobody anything and nobody is going to give him their winnings if he doesn't make the playoffs. He is getting two starters and and anything can happen. Be happy he is at least trying, because the same guy you are bashing, you will need his help to beat others so you can make it to the playoffs.

2 1's for 1 1. I mean it's a good trade for both sides. It's his last gasp. I'm about to make a similar trade but with Brees/Lacy

Fair trade. But they're both on bye(good thing for mannning though) so he's looking at 1-6.

I don't feel like it's a bad trade. Freeman is a beast, no doubt, but if Peyton even improves a little then DT88 improves also. And we've all seen what he can do even with short passes and screens, the man is a stud.

I think it's an even trade in a PPR DT88 and his potential straight up for Freeman, who could very well be riding a lucky wave. Let's just pretend like Manning isnt even a part of this deal because he's not startable in any league, and is debatable to even be owned.

So true. Started him last week over Newton and Rivers based on matchup. Still won my matchup with ease, but he is going to be dropped tomorrow morning. I have little to no faith in Peyton anymore.
