How should I approach this draft....

qb, qb, rb, rb, wr, wr, rb/wr, te, d, k, 6 bench spots
passing td 6 pts
int -3
passing 25 yards
no ppr
receiving/ rushing 10 yards
6 pts per td rushing/receiving
still a week until draft, so no draft position yet
I'm thinking of going QB early because of the format.
TIA for any advice.

Too much thought gets put into these things. I'd figure out what position you want to take in each round and then just take the best available at that position.
Not that I know anything though. I'm a ff rookie this year. Couldn't make my draft so I let the cpu take best available, and then I hit the waiver wires and trading block.

Get the best possible qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, and #1 def in the first 6 rounds. Its usually the suprise players that you pick towards the end of the draft that give you the points for victories. Also make sure you dont pick players with the same position with same bye week. That was a huge rookie mistake for me one time. I also find that TE's arent gonna put up too much, but if you get a kicker on a week offensive team, they will help out alot. Just a novice opinion.

I like most of this..
I disagree on getting a Def in the first 6 rounds. Theres no use on getting a Def when there still is good players left.
If you have like 1-3 picks then get a RB, but if you have the bottom picks then get a good QB. QB will help you win big in a 2 QB league.

Don't take a defense or kicker until LATE!
Reason: You just take the defense playing Detroit, Cleveland, etc. that week. Same goes for the kicker. Just pick up one who is playing a bad defense.
With 2 QBs, you either want 2 good ones, or a stud and a steady one. David Garrard would be steady. Palmer will also stick around for a while. He could be a boom.
Don't take somebody more than a round early, even if you love them. Odds are that you can trade for them, and get what you feel are 2 better players.

Draft by value. Meaning, don't just fill up your roster because you have too. You draft by the value of the guys available.

With two starting QB spots in a 12 man league, I'm thinking of loading my bench up with QBs as well for trade value. There are only going to be 8 nonstarters in the league. I'm thinking grab 2 or 3 for the bench and watch the trade offers light up after week one.

check your league rules as to how many roster spots are allowed for QBs. for instance, mine only allows a max of 2 QBs.

Don't put too much into that theory. Some of the a-holes i play with think their team is god when they pick and put too much faith in that and will never trade.
Also those MF'ers are gonna want your stud qb for their #2-3 rb/wr. frick em and go get some players.
