I think he'll start to show signs soon. The shift is hurting him and he's getting hurt by some bad luck. He's walking more than last year and his Isolated Power is higher. He's been hitting a lot of balls right at people. Give it time.

last year his BaBIP was .314. right now it sits at .175

He's also walking more than last year and striking out less than last year.

I think he'll be fine.

He's on pace for more HR, R, and RBI's than last year

This is what happens when you draft 22 year old players, its a learning process.

For some reason I find it hard to believe that you wouldn't be whining if you owned him.

Nahh I think Barry just realizes there are growing pains when you draft a 22y/o phenom.

Except for Freddie Freeman of course, kid just rakes.

Thats fine, I've made it pretty clear how i feel about drafting young players for fantasy, i find it highly overrated. If its a keeper league i understand, but don't be surprised when they are 22 and not producing like you want. It just doesn't happen in baseball very much.

Its a learning process is referring to Hosmer, not him drafting him.
