Coming into this week with:

QB Tom Brady
RB Le'Veon Bell
RB Doug Martin @BUF
WR Michael Crabtree
WR Davonte Adams
TE Travis Kelce
FLX Buck Allen @MIN
DEF Jaguars
K Mason Crosby

Bench:
QB Tyrod Taylor
RB Tevin Coleman @NE
WR Kelvin Benjamin @CHI
WR Mohammed Sanu (Q)
WR Desean Jackson
TE Cameron Brate
DEF Falcons

My first year playing FFL. It's 12 team PPR league. I feel like I have the second best team due to the depth of my bench.

1. If he plays Cam Newton instead of Brees, I think I should get Kelvin Benjamin in as my flex. Is that worth benching Buck Allen?

2. Also Doug Martin has gotten 13 and 14 carries his only 2 weeks back from suspension, but also has a touchdown each game. Should I put in Coleman or Allen in his spot? Or is he too valuable to bench?

3. Should I be playing Coleman over Allen when deciding a spot between the two? Coleman has been pretty solid, but never left my bench. There is always a fear with Allen because he doesn't always get the most carries; and even while the receiving back, Flacco is his QB.

Thank you in advance!!

Don't worry about who your opponent plays to set your lineup. Play your best players.

As for the other 2 questions, I would say play the players with the best matchup.

1. I doubt your opponent would start cam over brees

2. Start Martin and don’t look back

3. Maybe put Benjamin in your flex?

FWIW, I’ve seen two complete newbies win pretty competetive leagues.. beginners luck is real, so have fun with it ... good luck

THIS. You're trying to play defense in fantasy football, don't.

He pretty much told he already is going to.

EDIT: I would say the bigger question is Allen or Coleman...

Play Kelvin over Allen. But don't make this decision based on who your opponent starts.

Martin has looked great and will likely see his workload only increase. He's a borderline RB1 and you should play him every week, especially over the two guys you mentioned.

This is dependent on matchup. For this week, I'd probably lean Coleman. That game should be high scoring.

ETA: looking back at your lineup, you may not start Coleman or Allen. Kelvin is the better play over both.
