His ypc over the last 10 games or so is almost sub 3 ypc

Debate that if you will

Did you watch the games, or just check out the box score? Sounds more like box score analysis.

I didnt watch today, but it falls in line with what I had thought, dating back to last year.

He's a cutback run on Halloween last year from being reallllllly average as a runner.

He's averaging 3.64 YPC since that game. 10 games.

You obviously disagree. What are you seeing?

As a between the tackles runner, Hill is better.

Gio doesn't hit the hole with the explosiveness that Hill does.

But Gio doesn't fumble, he pass protects and he is really great in space.

He's too valuable at the line of scrimmage to be strictly a third-down back. So much versatility in his game.

Right, so he's a better receiver out of the backfield. No one is arguing that.

i dont get it. He's pretty one dimensional. Average to below at running the football.

He's a good pass catcher though

If you don't think he's a good RB, nothing I say is going to convince you otherwise.

I've liked what I've seen this season. He's running strong, pushing piles, slipping tackles and breaking plays out of the backfield. When I took notes on both games, I was consistently writing down "Bernard is explosive." I don't know what that stands for, but it bumps him up into the good category of RB.

He's a great pass catcher

He's also really good in pass pro

And he doesn't fumble the ball

He's tentative running into the hole. That's one trait that Hill definitely has over him.

Not saying Hill is bad at all, quite the opposite.

Hill is a fricking man. LSU fans never truly grasped how dominant he was.

I'm glad LSU doesn't run their RBs into the dirt.

He has best RB in the L potential.

I mean, I wish I had Gio in fantasy, dont get me wrong. But last time people got this hype over a sub 4 ypc ball catcher, they were taking TRich in RD 1 in 2013

so its not worrisome that in his last 10 games, his YPC is 3.64?

142 carries, 517 yards , 2 TDs

I mean, stats arent everything. But you are watching something different then what is actually happening. A guy getting 3.64 a pop isn't showing explosiveness
