Yes that would be a massive overreaction and terrible trade.

Do you think Barnidge continues seeing this level of production (barring injury)?

Cobb has been dinged since week 1. This bye week might help him out honestly.

1. Cobb started slowly last season. Didnt start hanging up those 20 point games til around this time. Finished top 5 WR in PPR to close out the season

2. He's been nursing the AC joint, and the bye week will be his first real chance to rest it.

3. Davante Adams will be back soon and he and Jones play a somewhat redundant role and will cancel each other out some. Cobb should be freed up a bit more to eat

4. GB hasnt really needed him yet. Their average margin of victory is double digits. DEN and CAR out of the gates after the bye, they will need Cobb. Cake schedule after that, he should be nice and lubed up, healed, and ready to roll for the stretch run

IMO

I love seeing threads like this so I know which owners to target in my own leagues.

A most likely waiver wire pick up TE for a 1st/2nd round WR? Yeah....

Barnidge has been playing out of his mind. I assume his numbers will dip a little bit, and Cobb will only get better. Unless you have such a great abundance of WRs and/or so desperately need a TE, I would hang on to Cobb.

You want a guy holding

Gronk
Antonio
Julio
Cobb

Heading down the stretch

At the expense of Barnidge

Not only are you trading when value is low, you are probably handing that other team the trophy

That offense isn't the same without Jordy. Not saying I would trade Cobb, but just saying.

They were 6th last year and 8th this year in total offense. 17 less yards per game w a banged up Lacy and Cobb

Yup. Nothing like selling extremely low on an elite player and buying high on a waiver wire darling.
