Gave Antonio Gates for Latavius Murray: who won this trade?(PPR)

I gave up Antonio Gates for Latavius Murray.
Picked Gates up on WW a couple of weeks ago.
Also, what areas should I improve on my team?
My Team(not including Murray):
QB: Andy Dalton, Romo
RB: Leveon Bell, Dion Lewis, Danny Woodhead, Karlos Williams
WR: DT88, Edelman, Juice Landry, Brandon LaFell
TE: Gronk
K: Gostkowski
Def: Packers, Falcons
His team(not including Gates):
QB: Rodgers, Rivers
RB: Forte, Randle, J. Stewart
WR: Mike Evans, B. Cooks, Alshon Jeffrey, M. Wallace, K. Wright
TE: Rudolph, D. Allen
I'm thinking the trade will go through, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm #1, he's #8. 10 team league.

I figure with Gronk, hopefully I'll be fine at TE.
Julius Thomas is still a free agent, so I may pick him to replace Gates as my backup, if needed.

He won. He got a MAJOR upgrade at TE. You got a running back who will be on your bench.
You should have asked for Jeffery since his trade value right now is lower than it should be.
Also why in the hell do you have 2 defenses? Stashing that Falcons D for trade bait?

I actually just held onto it from waiver wire claims last week. My opponent this week, a huge Falcons fan, previously had the Falcons Defense, so I figured I'd just keep it away from him or see if how desperate he gets for it.

Since PPR, I would say him. Gates has been on a roll since last year and it sure looks like it's continuing into this year too

He traded you a low RB1 (arguably) and ate the cost of dropping one of his three TEs post-trade. His RB group becomes desolate behind Forte, assuming Randle's uncertainty continues.
You gain depth and a stronger bargaining chip for another trade. You added Gates from wire and Latavius was drafted - and likely fairly high.
There's not much you can or should do to make your team better. You're in 1st, why change? Do drop a defense.

Yeah I'm pretty much done with my tinkering with my roster after this one. Just hope to continue to do well

I hope your luck is better than mine but whenever I try to get smart and block someone from getting a good pick, their "hopeless" option kills it. ie. I faced Lynch owner 2 weeks ago and picked up Rawls... He picked up Baldwin and edged me out by 1 point. Should've just let him have Rawls sigh.

Yeah, I actually held Rawls from the Lynch owner as I was playing him.
