#9: Swamie

Hitting Rank: 15th
Pitching Rank: 6th

Notes:
1. Finally, a team that focused on pitching instead of hitting, although ESPN likes the staff better than I do. After Harvey and Stras, there are questions in the rotation.
2. Hitting: Subpar to average in every category.
3. Pitching: Outstanding in WHIP, K/9, and S+Hd. No real weaknesses.

#8: Barry

Hitting Rank: 9th
Pitching Rank: 9th

Notes:
1. A lot will depend on what the Cubs do with Kris Bryant. I'm pretty sure Barry doesnt want to start the year with Mark Reynolds as his 1B.
2. Hitting: a little low in OBP and steals, but nothing awful.
3. Pitching: pretty average across the board, as the ranking would dictate.

C'mon TBM

1. This shite is just to fill the time between now and spring dings
2. ESPN has some pretty sketchy rankings
3. Redd doesn't deny that ESPN has sketchy rankings
4. They are called the Redd Rankings and he is in the top 3 every year and what has that done for him?

#7: Deebz

Hitting Rank: 14th
Pitching Rank: 5th

Notes:
1. Our second team focused on arms. Kershaw/Kluber is a nice 1-2 punch. I don't like his bats that much at all though.
2. Hitting: Only 1 player among the top 50 bats (Posey at 42). Fairly weak at everything but steals, which is above average but not elite.
3. Pitching: Outstanding in ERA and WHIP. K/9 is surprisingly low. Great bullpen.

im not complaining. just clarifying i drafted 2 SS before Escobar. Im just holding one in a minor league slot to open up another MLB slot for my team. In fact i drafted Escobar to fill in at 2B when needed

#6: Papz

Hitting Rank: 1st
Pitching Rank: 10th

Notes:
1. As the draft was going on, I grew more and more concerned about what Papz was building. If these rankings were based on my opinion, he's probably top 3.
2. Hitting: fricking awesome, outside of steals. If there's any weakness, it actually may be HR.
3. Pitching: Would have thought this would be stronger with Wainwright, Gio, and Teheran leading the charge. K/9 appears to be the issue, with a subpar bullpen not helping matters. Still solid though.

Do you think you are stronger than that in any category?

#5: CQQ

Hitting Rank: 12th
Pitching Rank: 3rd

Notes:
1. I like his staff over anyone elses, to be honest. Bats are a bit weak though.
2. Hitting: Decent OBP, but really weak at SLG, HR, and RBI. Good speed.
3. Pitching: Nobody else has a WHIP even close to this staff according to these projections. K/9 is the only thing preventing this from being the #1 staff in the league.

#4: Knat

Hitting Rank: 2nd
Pitching Rank: 8th

Notes:
1. I honestly never saw a pick that Knat made that I thought was awesome, but when I look at his overall team, I can certainly see him as a playoff team.
2. Hitting: Best SLG, HR, and RBI rating in the league. Only weakness is steals.
3. Pitching: I don't like the staff as much as ESPN does, but it'll do. Not dominant in anything, but doesnt punt a cat either.

#3 Redd

Hitting Rank: 5th
Pitching Rank: 4th

Notes:
1. Usually where I end up being ranked in these things, and it never gets me anywhere. Surprised to see my pitching outrank my hitting.
2. Hitting: OBP juggernaut (nobody is even close). Serious issues with HR and steals.
3. Pitching: Outstanding with ERA and WHIP. Strong bullpen as well. No category is a weakness, which i guess is what led to the high rating here.

#2 TTT

Hitting Rank: 10th
Pitching Rank: 1st

Notes:
1. I don't think I can agree with this being the #2 team, but its got potential. Better do it now while the big bats are still alive.
2. Hitting: Very top heavy with Bautista, E5, and Ortiz. After that, its meh. Overall strong in most categories, but steals brings the rating WAY down.
3. Pitching: Strong as shite. Kickass bullpen actually leads the way, not that Darvish is a piece of shite. Strong in all cats.

You're 8th in both. I'd call that average.

#1: DJ30

Hitting Rank: 3rd
Pitching Rank: 2nd

Notes:
1. I don't like his hitters at all, and time is running out on a few of them, but ESPN sure does love them. I can fap to the staff though.
2. Hitting: Great OBP and fairly solid everywhere else, especially steals.
3. Pitching: No weakness at all. Upper tier in everything but bullpen, which is just average, probably because hes only rostering 3 relievers.

I'm gonna do these rankings with CBS projections too, to see how much things change.
