What is everyone thinking of him this year? I will be picking 8th tonight and have a feeling he may be there, but I just can't sell myself on him. I have CJ Anderson and Luck as keepers so I'm sitting alright from a RB1 position. I think Demaryius and/or Dez will be there and I love both.

Keepers from other teams are: Jamaal Charles, DeMarco Murrary, LeSean McCoy, Jeremy Hill, Gronk. I am going to assume Le'Veon Bell, AP, Eddie Lacy, Lynch, Antonio Brown will be gone.

Leaves me with Forte, Dez, Demaryius, OBJ. If this is the case, I don't see myself letting Demaryius or Dez get away but I would love to have 2 solid RB's. Anyone expecting big things from Forte? Chicago is a dumpster fire.

TIA

Edit: 12 man league, non-ppr

Dez and DT88 are guaranteed to be top 5 WRs if they are healthy

Forte doesn't carry the same guarantee with the volatility at that position, with a new coach and offense, mileage, age etc.

You already have a QB and RB, take the WR

I think he is underrated at this point. He is not going to catch 100 passes but he will still be a top 5 catching RB. If Dez and DT are there I would take one of them though.

Thanks for the responses.

What if Lacy or Lynch were to fall? Does that change anything in your eyes or still roll with Dez or DT?

I'd go Dez in your situation, since you already have a RB

Lynch

Go Dez. I just think Peyton isnt going to have a good year. Idk why they wanna have him under center so much. Maybe it'll change once they get into the regular season. Peyton just doesn't look Peyton thus far.

Yeah, you're probably right. I have Dez as WR1 on my board. If Lacy is around though I will have a hard time letting him get past.

Oh if Lacy is there, I'd grab him. I have it the same as Gyno, except with Dez and DT swapped.

Forte's value comes in the passing game. He's not going to get you 100 yard rushing games week to week. Now with Trestman gone his volume of catches will drop. The 6 rushing TDs or less in 3 of the last 4 season also has to give you caution on drafting him. He's likely not going to give you 1st round value this season.
