For those in keeper leagues and out of playoff contention

Who are some players you are targeting in a trade or free agency that were drafted lower this year than what they will be worth next year in hopes that you can keep them for a great price?
To name a few:
Devonta Freeman
Todd Gurley
Tyler Eifert
Dion Lewis

Who is giving up Freeman or Gurley right now? Good luck "targeting" them.

Gurley and Freeman
Lol
If you had the firepower to trade for those guys, you wouldn't be out of playoff contention

My Roster:
QB: Rivers, Cousins
RB: Ivory, Jstew, Deangelo, Lacy, Gore, Ryan Mathews, Matt Jones,
WR: Julio, AJ, Arob, John Brown,
TE: Gronk
My Record: 4-5
I have outscored everyone in the league by more than 5 ppg but I have had terrible matchup luck.
So my question about targeting refers to possibly offering them like Julio + someone for Gurley or Freeman where the trade is lopsided to them for this year but I get a good keeper in return.

why would you trade julio

Keep 2. Counts as 2 rounds higher than where they were drafted. Julio was drafted in the late first round this year so I can't keep him

I draft my keepers, rook.

Are you really out of playoff contention at 4-5? Seems like you could sneak into the playoffs and be dangerous.
As for your original question, if you get to the point where punting is the best strategy, something like Deangelo and AJ for Freeman may work. Might have to up it to Julio for Gurley.

I have a chance but its not very high. Think I am about to acquire eifert (10th round keeper) and a mid round 6-8 pick) for my gronk
