In our league, we allow our owners to trade draft picks.

I am pick 10, and the other guy is pick 7.

He has offered his 2nd and 4th round picks for my 1st and 6th.

Before the trade, my first 6 picks are:

10 15 34 39 58 63

After the trade my picks are:

15 18 34 39 42 58

After 7, I feel like it's the 2nd round, so I'm not too worried about going from 10--->18

I think so. I think I agree with you. I think after the first run of elite players it gets to be pretty even from the late first through the end of the second round.

Could be off base on this though. I did get Zeke at the end of the first in my draft last year though, so you never know what could be there.

Yeah I have to do some mocks to see the difference in value from moving form 63 to 42 to really see if the trade would pay off.

No way! You're giving up 10 and 63 to get 18 and 42. We trade draft picks frequently and a first in my leagues usually go for a 2 & 3 bare minimum and I play very competitive leagues. I think you lose that trade IMO

Yeah, the more I think about it the more I think that I'm agreeing with you. Either way, I think that I would probably be too scared to make the trade.

You'd be moving from 10 to 18 and only gaining moving from 63 to 42. No way I'd do that

No way. He gets 2 1st round picks and you get 2 2nd round picks? And you are considering this? He would need to give up his 2nd and 3rd and you give up your 16th to even consider it.

Yeah I don't get why this is even a consideration. Lose a first for a second and gain a fourth in place of a sixth?

Makes no sense to me.
