I had issues last year mainly because I logged on and it was my turn. Had no idea we were starting. I'm down with starting early this year because the week of the 3rd will be far busier for me than this week. There definitely needs to be no bitching if someone takes the full 4 hours, however. We have 6 weeks before the season starts.

I didn't care about starting early had that date been set. But I log on sunday morning, hung over mind you, and it was my turn. People just decided to go and then threw shite fits when people weren't ready to go

Put "DCB on the clock" in the thread title. If he doesn't pick, no big deal, but at least he'll know we're waiting on him. May want to send out a league email also to see if anyone has major issues.

I don't remember having issues, but I logged in on a Sunday night thinking we were starting the next day and it was my turn.
I had been out on the town for a few hours.
I like the idea of starting on the day of the Hall of Fame game. You're still getting to start insanely early and it will be here before you know it.
I'm just saying, if we start earlier I'd like to be at my computer and not having to carry around my spreadsheet with me everywhere I go. I'm kind of a football junkie if you didn't know so it would definitely distract me from what I was doing at the time.
lol.
