This is my second year playing fantasy baseball, and first year playing for money, and I have no idea what my strategy should be in terms of drafting. Any advice on how to make up my draft board would be appreciated, or just general do's and don'ts.

I usually focus on big bats on the corners (1st and 3rd ) in the first two picks.

SS and 2B are deeper this year so you can get them in the 3rd and 4th or later.

Bats first, grab one ace in the first 6 rounds. You can find decent pitching in the later rounds. WAIT on closers! There will always be closers that pop up on the waiver wire. Just pay attention.

Wait on Outfielders unless there's an absolute stud that falls to you. There's plenty on OF with speed and BA.

Strategy should reflect your scoring

Do you know where your draft spot is?

Not yet I don't.

I think we are hitter heavy scoring and apparently there is no distinction between starting and relief pitching. Would that mean go heavy on starters or try to keep it balanced?

Same as any fantasy draft- make sure you go into a draft with rankings that are tiered. Makes any decisions between positions easier.

I always go heavy on starters. They affect more categories. Relief pitching is too volatile for me
