12 team league, full ppr, ESPN

I had ~ 1 point LEAD after the completion of all games on Sunday. My opponent was finished, and I still had Marlon Mack.

Sometime between noon and 7, on Monday, ESPN deducted points from my team (49ers Defense) after the 49ers/Falcons wild finish where Atlanta ended up running back a failed lateral for a touchdown.

Naturally, I was feeling like I got screwed, but oh well I just needed 2.2 from Marlon Mack and I would be in the ship. The saints went on to dominate (Who Dat!?), holding Marlon Mack to 1.9.

At this point all I could do was laugh that I lost by 0.2 AFTER a stat correction. So I just went on with life and forgot about fantasy football. This morning (THURSDAY), my opponent starts complaining, because they adjusted the score AGAIN, and gave me those 3 points back to my 49ers defense.

This WAS the final score (after the initial points deduction, and after Marlon Mack got shite on by the saints D). I’m “Check My Balls” (Tom Brady Reference)

This IS the final score that was adjusted on THURSDAY!

Any thoughts on this?? I just had to share it

**Edited to add the images

**Edit 2 - they’ve changed it again and took the points back causing me to lose. Is anyone else having this problem?

Oh well, you can still get the context of what happened by just reading it.

I was up by 1.8 heading into Monday night, he had Marlon Mack left.

I lose by 0.1 when Mack scores 1.9.

Stat correction today, Eagles D gets an extra sack

I win by 0.9 and I’m back in the ship.

Hell yea! Congrats man. I don’t understand what’s up with the Thursday stat corrections? I lost out on several free agents I would’ve picked up this week, had I known I was still alive. Breshad Perriman, mainly.

I'm in the same boat. I thought I was gonna lose by 0.25, but with Thursdays adjustments, I ended up winning by 1.25 points. Seems pretty messed up, but I'm not gonna complain.

So did yours just change again, causing you to lose again?

Yes it changed again. And after further research, I found that Patriots/Jets and the falcons/rams games have had the same scenario happen earlier this year. In neither instance did ESPN dock those defenses’ points, like they did the 49ers last week. We’re trying to decide the fairest way to determine who makes it to the championship. We’re leaning towards a 3 way championship game. Any thoughts?

You play to the mercy of the platform

There’s no way to know if there are other instances that would have changed an outcome

If I'm not mistaken, this would make sense. The Falcons/Rams game was a turnover by the offense that turned into a TD. The D/ST wouldn't be affected by this since the offense gave up the points. In the SF/Atl game, the ST is the unit that fumbled, so they would be responsible for the points given up. I think you lost this one.

It was the punt team. That is considered special teams correct?

Yeah, the punt team would be considered special teams. I was thinking that was an offensive fumble, but you're right. That should have been on the ST/Def as well.
