Dropping a bench player who's game already started

On yahoo fantasy football.
I distinctly remember that this was not allowed until starting the week after? Well last night I was allowed to drop Funchess in the middle of the carolina game while picking up another player. Is this something that yahoo changed recently? Is there a way I can change it back to where you can't drop players who's already played, even if it's bench players?

Should not be allowed, sounds like there is either a glitch in the system or the league set-up. If you are commish, check the dropped players & waiver settings and make sure they are correct.
Also, since you already did it for your team, you should not change the settings until AFTER this week.

Its not a glitch. You've been able to do this in the past. You need to change the league settings.

This was never allowed before and we didn't change the settings from last year. I've checked the settings and they are all correct. However, there is no option describing how to change the situation in OP.
And now it's allowing me to play the player I just picked up.
Oh another fricked up thing - it's showing the player I dropped in the "line up" underneath the defense slot as UN position. The points from thedropped player is in the total... wtf

Where in the league settings? We haven't changed the league settings for years now. I dont' see the option to change this.
