Anyone think he does much ROS?

Standard league, have Gurley/Lamar/Ivory starting at RBRBFlex.

Have West on the bench.

I have Russel Wilson as my QB, and saw Roethlisberger on the WW. Worth dropping Hyde?

I'm leaning towards yes.

Who else you have? Dropping Hyde seems like a bad choice.

Do you have a 2nd te or defense? What wr's are at the bottom of your roster?

Pick up Big Ben? Hell yes.

Do you have anyone else to drop?

If not, I'd still drop Hyde for Ben.

Roster:

Wilson

OBJ
Martavis Bryant
John Brown

L. Miller
Gurley

Eifert
Ivory
McManus
Denver

Bench:
Hyde
West
Hurns
J. Hill
DJax

10 team standard.

This team is 3-4 , granted I picked up a lot of the starters later in the year off FA and Miller's slow start. (Bryant/Hurns/I think someone dropped Gurley early when they figured out he wouldn't play for a while/ West)

You would keep Desean Jackson over Hyde? Am I missing something here?

I'd drop DJax before Hyde

Curious - why do people think it's bad idea to drop him?

Because he has Desean Jackson on his bench who hasn't caught a ball this year. At least try to trade Hyde. He's still the 13th back from a points standpoint; someone may be willing to trade.

My league doesn't trade much, plus, Hyde's value right now might be at an all season low.

Maybe I'm being stupid with DJax, but I just am holding out hope he blows up when he comes back. (which is stupid and irrational, but I'm doing it)

Definitely drop DeSean over hyde. Hyde is at least the main back in an offense even if that offense sucks.

I agree that Jackson is someone OP should drop before Hyde.

Being the RB13 means very little with Carlos Hyde.

He had a monster Week 1 and scored a touchdown in Week 5. The other five weeks he would have been better off being on everyone's bench.

With that much variance in his performance, and reportedly dealing with a stress fracture in his foot, Hyde has little value.

I wouldn't drop him. I would try to trade him and see if he can get any value. You wouldn't get anything great in return, but you would get something. I would try to trade him first.

100% agree with the people saying to drop Desean over Hyde too. Desean is extremely useless ROS.

I agree with you, but you may catch someone sleeping/lazy/etc. and they see the 13th ranking and would be willing to trade.

Hyde as a player is very talented. Obviously his team/QB hold him back. But he's capable of having great games against good matchups. And by "good matchups" I mean any defense where Colin Kaepernick won't be completely worthless and drag down the entire O.
