this implies AP doesn't have that ability which is wrong.
When did I say he didn't? I just feel AP is the safer pick. I think he's definitely got a higher floor and could very easily end up #1. I just feel McCoy, in a standard league, has the most upside of any RB(plus a Mich better offense and scheme to work with in Philly).
My point being is that McCoy is a little riskier, but could finish higher. So if you want the safe, for sure top 5 season but maybe not #1, go AP. Not a slight to AP at all, and there's nothing wrong with taking him #1 overall.

And to add: with the referees going to be focused more on defensive holding and illegal contact this season, I don't think 55 passing TDS is that out of the reach. The only thing I'm worried about is Peyton losing Decker is his reliability, specially in the Red Zone.

Valid point, although he does still have Weller and J. Thomas who are more than viable options in the red zone.
But to counter you reffing point, I think that would affect yards more so than TDs, if anything. And actually wouldn't really affect yards that much either because your getting the penalty. If anything I think it affects the offense as a whole, because it'll keep drives going, that may have otherwise stalled on a 3rd down. One downside to look at tho is flags near the endzone are going to put the ball very close. MOST teams would run in those situations(inside the 5 yard line). So like I said, I don't think it really affects things too much statistically, other than being able to keep drives alive.

40 of his 55 TDS came in the Red Zone. Just sayin.
Eta: if the refs are watching more closely means that DBS will give up more and more space, thus resulting in more pass yards and TDS.

True but only 18 of those were from the 5 and in. Which is still a lot, but less than half of his red zone touchdowns came from goal-line situations. If there's a flag in, or near the endzone it's going to put the ball inside the 5. With Montee Ball, I'd expect them to run the same, if not more in those situations. 10/13 of Moreno's TDs last year came from the 8 yard line or closer, and he's nowhere near the goalline back Ball is.
