Can anyone explain why it is illegal in louisiana? Is it fun or a waste of money?

It's a form of gambling. The state isn't getting a share of the profit.

the bill to make it legal just recently got killed again.
the video poker gaming commission fought hard against it. Got people to vote it down.

Everyone I've introduced it to loves it.
If you're a casual sports fan you will find it to be a fun adjunct to the sport you're watching.
If you're a diehard sports fan you will become addicted to it.

those that do play, do you get in a 20+ people league or head to head?
i was doing head to head in cfb, and half assed my home work on it, and got beat up a little.
But for christs sake, its the same f'in people doing head to head on every same day fantasy sports. csrams, birdie, etc Every game, they are on.

50/50 are the easiest to win in, with the exception on nights like tonight where the majority have Kershaw pitching in their lineups

I like the GPPs (guaranteed prize pool tournaments). They are less than optimal in terms of ROI but hey, I don't do DFS for a living. And I've had some really good cashes.
