Dion Lewis: What are your thoughts?

Do you want him?
When would you take him?
Going around the 4th round currently, I would probably start thinking about taking him in the 5th, (PPR).
Can he stay healthy?

DNW. I'd take Blount in a much later round, based on current ADP's, way before I took Lewis in the 4th. Too many question marks for that high of a pick to be used on him. Health issues, schematics of the Belichick RB system, etc. Pass for me.

He's really really good. His "missed tackles" stat per PFF was off the charts. We know that Brady uses a pass catching running back like another receiver. We also know that Blount is old and coming off an injury, and James White is pretty mediocre.
The "injury questions" detraction doesn't really fly with me. Off the top of my head, 4 of the current top 10 RBs have blown out a knee. That's just the state of the running back position and our modern medicine advances.
4th round in a PPR is STEALING- this is a guy who will likely hit 70 catches and still receive 40ish% of the rushing volume in a very good offense.

BTW, if you extrapolate last year's production into 16 games, Lewis would have finished as PPR RB2.

He's going to be third in targets.

He was a top 5 PPR RB before he went down

I like him. Would rather him as my RB2 but would use as RB1 if I had 2 WR1 types

Yep. My plan of action right now is keeping Jordy Nelson (drafted in 11th round before full injury was disclosed) and having him as my defacto WR2. Draft a top 2 or 3 WR in the first, or grab Gronk in the first and a WR in the 2nd.
Target Lewis in the 3rd

After thinking about it and reading I'm starting to like him more and more.
The 4th round might not be too big of a price either.
I just hope he doesn't do anything crazy in pre season and sky rockets his ADP.
They guy is super talented.

I don't think PPR leagues always correctly value RBs who are primarily pass catchers, or even 50/50 guys like Dion. The 4-5 pts you get a week just from the receptions really increases their floor.

He will jump if he proves to be 100% in preseason & minicamp more than likely
