Deciding to sit/start Ben Tate

How does one make this decision on a weekly basis? This is the first time I have had a RB like this but it was hard watching Jamaal Charles shite the bed and Ben Tate on my bench last week.

I would say if you have a RB you can steadily rely on getting you at least 8-10 you gould start him over Tate
