Talking shite and getting lucky aren't against the rules. Hell, it's one of the main reasons I play fantasy football. If you plug someone in you are a shitty cheating commissioner. You need to tell the last place owner to get fricked and he can't play next year.

Thanks for the replies. I'll leave it alone and keep a closer eye on his lineups from now on. It's not my first instinct to interfere as commish, but I hate to see the playoffs affected by something so stupid

For those that don't read and reply with the smartass "Well why do you allow someone in the league that doesn't give a shite" responses I'll repeat: this owner has never done this before. I think this is the first year he has been in last place, so obviously I had no problems with him in the past. Now I know.

And I do try to create other payouts/incentives to keep the last place teams interested, but guess it wasn't enough.

I'm aware. I only mentioned it to set the background. Wasn't really relevant, the guy just gets on my nerves sometimes and the whole situation just pissed me off even more that he was the one to benefit.

Can't do anything now.

Implement a cash reward for highest scoring team each week. Lowest scoring team has to pay it ($10).
This way, people who are out of playoffs will set their lineups every week to
1: hopefully pull off a great week and win some money back or
2: not score the least and lose more money
