The one where he finished easily within the top 10 players last year

You're arguing against yourself. No one here is pimping him.

And dee Gordon was 11th on ESPN lol

Billy Hamilton is the top player in fantasy on ESPN

Doesn't make it right. Flawed system heavily influenced by steals.

What top 10 player isn't even top 5 at his postion in R, HR, or RBI.. His position! And Not even the leader in the clubhouse in his calling card stat

Strawman. Where you or I have him ranked is entirely irrelevant. We aren't OP's prospective trade partners.

There are a lot of people willing to draft him in the top 20, regardless of whether you would prefer to draft Howie Kendrick or Altuve at pick 195. It's worth trying since there are unequivocally people who like him that much.

By the way, I am very anti-Altuve in 2015 fantasy.

It is because the mean and standard deviations are so low in steals that the outliers have a much higher z score in steals than any other cat.

Steals specialists are significantly more valuable in a roto league. Unless the rest of your team is entirely devoid of SBs, 50+ steal guys start producing diminishing returns. In a roto, you can build a strong SB base and then trade away the steals specialist halfway or 2/3s of the way through the year & get value for the remaining steals that won't do a whole lot for you... not a luxury you are afforded in a H2H categories league.
