Nah, they want to keep Teddy Bridgewater alive. I know the Lions defense is terrific, but the Vikings offense has seemed to work better with Asiata on the field this season compared to McKinnon.

Even with more touches, it wil be less then what he was getting. Rendering him useless.
Dude had 2 carries last week for -2 and -3 yards. He's terrible

Exactly. CJ anderson will see more touches this week
Doesn't mean shite in regard to hillman
ETA: maybe he could, that's a more unpredictable situation, but I a 3.9 YPC against Detroit is pretty legit. Asiata does that against shitty defenses.

the only real offensive showing since Peterson left is against Atlanta. Started strong, but started to lull until McKinnon went back in...he gave them a jump start

I guess you didn't see his comments about Patterson. No coach speak there
such a different situation. He's on the field isn't he? It's like playing one wr who cannot get open instead of one who can and does simply because the latter receiver cannot run block or run block as well.
pass protection isn't the end all be all of who plays. Asiata flat out sucks and cannot run the ball effectively unless he's playing garbage and even then it's not so impressive. 11 carries for 40 yards against detroits line and bridgewater isn't scaring safeties...impressive

really going out on a limb there. He had 3 touches last week.

"Vikings coach Mike Zimmer commented last week he did not want to get McKinnon “beat up”, and then preceded to give McKinnon only three more touches than Matt Asiata against the Redskins Week 9. Asiata actually out-snapped McKinnon 38-to-37, and got the touches that matter the most around the goal line. It was a maddening day for McKinnon owners."
