Anybody feel like he will get the call up reasonably soon after his suspension? His numbers are ridiculous and supposedly he's looks good during the suspension. I would have to drop a decent guy (likely Eovaldi) to pick him up. We have three keepers and a free agent pickup only cost you the last round of the draft so it's tempting.

Late summer is my prediction. He's never pitched in AAA and he's need to get control of his command issues if he wants to be in the rotation. If we're talking about getting called up in relief, then all bets are off and I don't know when that might happen.

I wouldn't drop anybody right this instance for a minor league guy who hasn't pitched in a minor league game this season

He will need an injury to find a spot in that rotation. Garcia is almost alway hurt though.

This, and or Wacha since he has always had a messed up shoulder.

But no, he wont beat anyone out of their spot.

Its nearly the exact team that won 100+ last year, they wont fall out of any race. And on top of that, waino will still finish with the ERA in the 3's

I don't foresee them falling far enough out of the wild card race to become sellers. They actually have the third best run differential in the league. They have underperformed their Pythegan and BaseRuns record by more than any other team in the league, which is ironic because the Cardinals have made their living overperforming those metrics the past few years.

Yeah, the Cards are a good team. I am so good that they are finally unlucky. They outperformed their base runs by 11 last year. I swear they have made deals with the devil in the past.

8 K in 4 IP last night in his AAA debut after his suspension. True to form, he also had 3 BB

Really inefficient 48/85 pitches for strikes. Can't wait to see more though.

Reyes has the talent to be a Stud, but he has control issues.

When he threw in Winter Ball, all of the scouts lined up to watch him. He has nasty stuff, just has to be consistent when around the plate.

If you have a bench spot, might want to make the move.

He had another solid start in Memphis, and with the Big clubs starters struggling, it's possible he gets a call soon.

Pay attention to Wachas next start, he gets bombed again, Reyes could be up and Wacha to DL.
