I had to hedge my bet on chapman. at least this way im guaranteed to have a closer. Didnt wanna be mccains bitch in the hunt for a closer come playoff stretch time.

I've got a few more picks coming up pretty quickly.

Well he definitely stocked up on young talent with that strategy last year. My guess is he wants to load up on picks one more time so he can make a run next year. Probably nothing but a punt until next year with a bunch of picks coming with it. Sort of a two-phased approach to draft positioning and roster purge.

had a similar draft pick selection last year & ended up on landing the likes of E5, Headley, & Melky. he probably should take his shot this year.
