I started a thread 2 weeks ago about keeper help... anyways I kept Yelich(7th), & Segura (11th). So my strategy was to draft power bats in the 1st 2 rounds because neither Yelichand/or Segura could be leaned on for HRs. Well the draft order just came out today and I got the #1 pick. The draft is tonight. Is Trout gonna get me the HRs I need? Will they pitch around him with little protection around him? Would it be foolish of my to draft Nado or Machado with that #1 pick?? I'd love to have my 3B or SS hit 40HR. Or just take Trout and stop overthinking it?

Mike Trout's floor is everyone else's ceiling. Take him with no further thought.

So for power am I gonna have to reach for Schwarber with the 1st pick of the 3rd round? (G Sanchez is kept). I'm just a little worried where my HR's are gonna come from. Maybe T Frazier in that 4th round?

If you aren't picking Trout first, you're doing it wrong. This goes for just about any format of fantasy baseball you can think of.

If you pass on Trout, you can guarantee the person behind you will be supplying you with a couple cases of beer as a thanks.
