I wouldn't call the current course conservative, but he didn't turn it ultra liberal for decades to come.

No, it wasn't Obama. Obama doesn't mind rising stars coming out of his party. I think he'd want a successor to continue his legacy and groom them up. He had literally nothing to do with it.
It was all Hillary. She prevented any rising star in her party to possibly challenge her for the White House. Honestly, Obama was the one guy who managed to frick up her plan. Hillary has been working behind the scenes to sabotage her own party to the point where she's the only choice for them.
And now the Democrats have no one to turn to. They have no leader or a back up plan. As a party they are basically finished with Hillary's loss. I believe they'll literally have to have a moderate Republican to run for them in 2020. They are that fricked.

1.Deliver on his 2nd new deal for the inner cities to decrease the number of blacks that blindly vote democrat.
