To be fair that's a big swath of Atlanta encompassing both rabidly liberal and moderately conservative areas

I took my son and we went to vote in Buford early this morning. The line was a mile long. Left and went back around 10 and it was fine. System was smooth and people were happy.

Its primarily a white working class area and usually 95% Republicans. I would expect it to be 97% today

No to all 4, but for 1 it could've gone either way.

I'm at the north end of Lewis' district (almost in Buckhead).

Agreed. My precinct was decidedly NOT on y'alls train.

I voted for Amendment 1. If the local school districts were going to pull out solutions to fix the chronically failing schools, they would have done so by now. If you look at the opposition to the School Takeover Amendment, you'll see the usual suspects from the left: NAACP, teachers' unions, & school boards. If Shanquita Jackson-Jefferson (fictional but viable school board member name) had the answers, then it's her duty as an elected official to do everything in her power to pull the trigger on legitimate solutions to help those schools and teachers who can't get out of their own way and actually teach children.

The teachers' union doesn't want the Opportunity School District to be able to fire teachers who aren't doing their jobs. I don't find that prospect unreasonable. If I don't do my job, I'm underemployed. Why should teachers be any different?

ETA: MAGA

I am literally on the edge, as in, I can walk 200 yards from my door and be in Tom Price country. Voted early though, so can't comment on our precinct which is in my neighborhood and usually very sparse (it's awesome).

I'm less than a mile from Gingrey's district (GA-11). Strangely enough, my precinct is also within that district's boundaries.

I voted yes to amendment 1 as well. frick these liberal organizations more interested in their own power and pocketbooks than the state's children.
